Jalapão Experience 4 Days

Our adventure begins heading towards Jalapão. Our first stop is at Lagoa do Japonês, a sanctuary of crystal-clear waters in shades of blue. The surrounding rock formations are perfect for those wishing to relax and marvel at nature. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to dive into refreshing waters and reconnect with nature.

After a delightful lunch with local cuisine at Dona Almerinda’s, we head to Pedra Furada, a majestic sandstone formation sculpted by time. Here, we’ll have the chance to witness an unforgettable sunset. We conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Ponte Alta, gearing up for the next day’s adventures.

The day starts with a visit to Cânion Sussuapara. This natural wonder is a haven of tranquility and beauty, with its rocky walls and lush vegetation. Next, we’ll make a stop at the Rio Novo Community, where lunch will be served by D. Cleuza, offering a true local culinary experience.

After a short rest, it’s time for a refreshing swim at Prainha do Rio Novo, also known as Praia do Pixico. As dusk approaches, we head to the Jalapão Dunes, a unique landscape in the Cerrado, where we’ll have time for photos and contemplation. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay in Mateiros, under a starry sky.

The day begins with an exhilarating rafting (optional) adventure on the Soninho River. The calm waters and surrounding landscape make this experience unforgettable. Next, we visit the Araras Waterfall, a natural beauty spot where fauna and flora harmoniously coexist.

After a varied lunch at Fazenda Araras, we’ll start our journey back to Palmas. On the way, we’ll make a photo stop at Morro da Catedral, an impressive rock formation that stands out in the landscape. Arrival in Pantanal is scheduled for 18:00.
